Photography

It felt natural to delve in to photography after being so involved with scrapbooking and Heritage Makers. I received a DSLR camera for Christmas after the birth of our second child, read as many books on photography as I could get my hands on, and took a photography course with some friends. I ended the class with 99% overall.

I have done some photography gigs and have enjoyed them, but I have learned that the part about being a photographer that excites me the most is putting the photos into a beautiful website. And as I reflected, I realized that the part that excited me the most about all of the various businesses I had had was designing the websites (with my limited abilities when I was making them) for each business.

Check out my amateur photography website here: Julie's Photography Site.

It was my husband’s suggestion that I look in to going back to school for web and graphic design/development. He noticed how more visibly enthusiastic I was about web design than anything else I had dabbled in.
